Description

Designed and manufactured by US Mat Market the Aquagrip mat provides excellent slip-resistance and ergonomic benefits in wet areas.  Drainage holes allow water to freely drain away, and an antimicrobial treatment protects the mat from odor-causing bacteria, mold, mildew, and fungus that typically thrive in wet or humid environments.Aquagrip mats are certified high-traction by the National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI).

Unlike many wet area mats, Aqua mats are constructed with durable closed-cell nitrile foam, providing a soft and comfortable surface for bare feet. Aquagrip mats provide a safe, clean, and comfortable surface to stand in locker rooms, showers, and around swimming pools and hot tubs.

Aquagrip mats are resistant to microbes and can be autoclave sterilized, making them ideal for use in medical setting such as operating rooms and scrub areas.

Aquagrip mats provide slip resistance and ergonomic benefits in wet areas.

MADE IN USA: Please note, mat size is approximate as rubber shrinks and expands in conjunction with temperature and time. Tolerable manufacturing size variance is 3-5%.

Mats can be cleaned using the following methods:

Commercial Laundering:

  • See laundering instructions for details.

Sterilization:

  • Sterilize mats in an autoclave.

Hand Washing:

  • Scrub with a deck brush as needed using a detergent with a neutral pH.
  • Rinse with a hose or pressure washer.
  • Hang to dry.

Drying:

  • Always ensure the mat is fully dry before placing it back in service.

Commercial Laundering Instructions:

  • Mats can be commercially laundered to remove oil, grease, and soil. The formula below does not require extensive mechanical action or drying. It is designed to dissolve grease residue by using hot water to emulsify oils and grease.

Flush:

  • 2-3 minutes with high water level, cold water.

Break:

  • 5-10 minutes with high water level, 120°F (49°C).

Rinse:

  • 2 minutes with high water level, cold water.
  • Another 2 minutes with high water level, cold water.

Drain:

  • 2 minutes.

Additional Notes:

  • Wet Step mats do not require extracting or drying.
  • Lay mats flat following removal from washer.
  • Allow to cool before rolling.
