SKU: 110 Categories: ,

Description

Ideal Brush mats feature extra-coarse nylon fibers blended with traditional nylon carpet fibers. This duo of fibers is designed to create excellent scraping and wiping action for maximum soil-stopping power.

The high-twist, heat-set nylon resists crushing to better trap dirt and extend the useful life of the mat. Since the nylon is solution-dyed, it is resistant to fading and impervious to bleach.

Ideal Brush mats are certified high-traction by the National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI) and are made in the USA. Please note, mat size is approximate as rubber shrinks and expands in conjunction with temperature and time. Tolerable manufacturing size variance is 3-5%.

FADE RESISTANT: Solution-dyed nylon won’t fade in sunlight or with repeated washing; impervious to bleach

Ideal Brush Mats can be maintained through various cleaning methods:

Commercial Laundering:
(Refer to Laundering Instructions)

Regular Vacuuming:

  • Daily in high-traffic zones.
  • Weekly in areas with less foot traffic.

Extractor Cleaning:

  • Use an extractor.
  • Lay the mat flat to dry afterward.

Air Drying:

  • Hang the mat to dry.

Important: Always ensure the mat is completely dry before putting it back in use. Allow it to cool before using.

Ideal Brush Mats with nitrile rubber backing can be commercially laundered to extend their lifespan by preventing the accumulation of soil and soap residue.

For heavily soiled mats:

  • Increase the temperature to a maximum of 140°F (60°C).
  • The break should have a pH no higher than 9.5; use low pH non-ionic detergents.

Laundering Instructions:

  • Flush: 2-3 minutes at medium water level, 120°F (49°C)
  • Optional Flush: 2-3 minutes at medium water level, 120°F (49°C)
  • Break: 2-3 minutes at high water level, 120°F (49°C)
  • Rinse: 2 minutes at high water level, cold
  • Second Rinse: 2 minutes at high water level, cold
  • Extract (Low Speed): 1-2 minutes
  • Shake Out: 1 minute (rotate wheel at wash speed with drain open)
  • Final Extract (Low Speed): 3-5 minutes
  • Dry: 5-10 minutes at 180°F (82°C) basket temperature
  • Cool Down: 5 minutes

Post-Wash Instructions:
Lay mats flat after removing them from the washer or dryer and allow them to cool before rolling. Avoid over-drying; the dryer basket temperature should not exceed 180°F (82°C). If mats are not dried, you can increase the final rinse temperature to 140°F (60°C) to reduce moisture retention after extraction.
