The fabric surface is made from PET, an eco-friendly fabric that dissipates moisture and dries quickly, and is fade-resistant and impervious to bleach. All Restroom Service mats are anti-microbially treated for protection from odor-causing bacteria.

Restroom Services Mat Laundering Instructions

Proper laundering is essential to prolong the service life of Restroom Services mats by preventing the buildup of soil and soap residue.

Adjustments to the laundering process may be necessary, such as increasing break time, temperature, or the number of rinses, to achieve the desired results. For sanitary purposes, maintain the break temperature at 140°F (60°C).

Do not wash Restroom Services mats with cleated general-use mats to avoid pilling of the fabric surface.

1.Laundering Process
Flush:

  • 2-3 minutes, high water level, 120°F (49°C).

Flush:

  • 2-3 minutes, high water level, 120°F (49°C).

Break:

  • 5-10 minutes, high water level, 140°F (60°C).

Rinse:

  • 2 minutes, high water level, cold.

Rinse:

  • 2 minutes, high water level, cold.

2.Post-Laundering Care

Drying:

  • Lay mats flat, nap side down, after removal from the washer to allow any water to drain out. When dry, roll mats with the nap side out for delivery.

Lint Removal:

  • Drying is usually not necessary, but if there is excess lint on the carpet, tumble the mats for 5 minutes using the cool-down cycle. No heat is required.

3.Detergent Guidelines

pH Level:

  • Do not use high pH detergents, alkali, or solvents. The break should not exceed a pH of 9.5.

Detergent Type:

  • Use a low pH non-ionic detergent (2-4 oz. per 100 lbs of mats). Consult with your chemical supplier for exact amounts.
