UltraScrape mats feature a molded tread pattern that effectively scrapes tough dirt and grime from shoes. It is ideal for use outside as a scraper mat or as a slip-resistant mat in wet areas.

The UltraScrape mat is grease/oil proof, chemical resistant, and certified slip-resistant by the National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI).

Its lightweight flexible design makes it easy to clean (shake off soil and hose off). It can also be commercially laundered or autoclave sterilized.

UltraScrape Mat Cleaning Instructions

UltraScrape mats can be cleaned using the following methods:
1. Sterilization

  • Sterilize the mat in an autoclave.

2.Hand Washing

Scrubbing:

  • Use a deck brush to scrub the mat as needed with a detergent that has a neutral pH.

Rinsing:

  • Rinse thoroughly with a hose or pressure washer.

Drying:

  • Hang the mat to dry completely. Ensure the mat is fully dry before placing it back into service.

3. Commercial Laundering

  • UltraScrape mats can be commercially laundered periodically to remove soil. The laundering formula below requires minimal mechanical action and does not involve drying:

Flush:

  • 2-3 minutes with high water level, cold water.

Break:

  • 5-10 minutes with high water level at 120°F (49°C).

Rinse:

  • 2 minutes with high water level, cold water.

Rinse:

  • Repeat for 2 minutes with high water level, cold water.

Drain:

  • 2 minutes.

Rotate Wash:

  • Rotate the wash well with the drain valve open to allow excess water to drain from the mats.

Post-Laundering Care

  • Lay the mats flat after removing them from the washer.
  • Allow the mats to cool before rolling.
